Inspired by our collective desire to keep kids active and the planet healthy, Team Sprig is dedicated to infusing creativity, smart design, quality manufacturing, earth-friendly materials, product satisfaction and responsible business practices into a superior line of fun, kid-powered toys. We help make the world a better place and we get kids off the couch. Pretty cool, huh? Once upon a time, there were three talented toy designers who were taking the industry by storm. Their award-winning toys were selling like hotcakes. They were happy and successful. Then one day the designers visited the factories that turned their computer renderings into real toys. They eagerly watched the assembly line with anticipation, and quickly realized the harmful impact their toy production had on the nearby air, soil, water, plants and people. They were devastated. They went back to the drawing board, only to face another disturbing toy trend that threatened to control their designs. Passive “watch-me” electronic toys were gaining popularity, encouraging otherwise healthy kids to become more inactive. The designers refused to be part of the problem, so they joined forces to become the solution. Our brave, young designers made a pact. They vowed then and there to make the best toys the right way. They were on a mission to keep kids active and the planet healthy, and the quest became personal when they started to have children of their own. In 2007, they formed Sprig Toys, Inc., turning their vision into reality. The designers packed their families and moved from opposite coasts to reunite the threesome in the heart of the Rocky Mountain west. It was in Fort Collins, Colorado, where Team Sprig created their top-secret, high-tech toy laboratory – and where they designed an exciting line of battery-free, eco-friendly, paint-free, kid-powered toys sure to dazzle the most discriminating preschooler.

To Mellie13 could not wait to give this boat for my 16 months old, and this ship was so beautiful and fun to play. I love the way it is done and that is from recycled materials. Unfortunately, because the bottom is made of two separate pieces (the blue helmet and the "planks" in brown) with a hole in the middle of the water to seep allowes very quickly. If you gently place on the surface of the water is good, but if you squeeze a little excited to write even a little water, drinking water and quickly sinks to the bottom. The first thing my son is when he enters the hub is pushed down, and once it sinks it is not interested in the boat. Maybe it's because of his age, he would be able to play with the better when he gets older, but I still believe that a boat for small children as it does not really fall, especially at that price! Another concern is where the mold can be formed between the layers, which usually is the ultimate reason for me to buy some bath toys Maybe I'll try to lubricate seal the space between the layers together to seal them. Had I known this earlier I would not have bought this product. 9 of 9 people found the following review helpful. SprigFan by Jack Ryan Large toy boat floats really. Bath time lots of fun and fun to play outside or if the trunk is not flat water play. 3 of 3 people found this review helpful. Sinks too easy, not worth the money by Heather CI believed that this boat would be good. I loved the material it is made of, and the theme for the toy. Unfortunately, the small boat sank near and dolphins, as they entered the water, and the large boat was soon followed by the big boat as easy to play after a few sessions (my son was 9 months at the time, so I do not think It was torn into roughly with the computer). Maybe it was just our model, but it was definitely not worth it spent $ 20 for. All 23 customer reviews ....
